Easy to handle Rare Earth oxide CRM simplifies wavelength accuracy checks
Released by Phoenix MarCom Ltd
Starna Scientific has released an easy to handle non-consumable Rare Earth oxide wavelength Certified Reference Material (CRM) which uses Erbium Oxide in perchloric acid for qualifying wavelength accuracy in UV diode array based HPLC systems.
The new Rare Earth oxide wavelength CRM is now available in a ‘ready to use’ format that overcomes the drawbacks of traditional methods which used a solution that was only available in a sealed ampoule format and required decanting into a clean, dry, cuvette.
Starna’s new CRM is ideal for pharmaceutical QA laboratories and customer support organizations seeking to qualify HPLC diode array systems. The CRM enables Operational Qualification (OQ) and Performance Qualification (PQ) using ‘industry standard’ protocols.
Starna’s depth of knowledge and expertise in preparing Rare Earth oxide wavelength references for ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 accreditation offers its customers a proven ‘high quality’ reference to support their qualification requirements.
Starna is an ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34 accredited Reference Material producer so the company’s Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) provide a convenient and recognised validation method. Full documentation on measurement, handling and storage is also provided with each set of CRMs.
